Every Friday we kick off the weekend by featuring one of our brilliant residents to bring you advice on preparing for university. This week we spoke to Claudia who is in her 1st year of Biochemistry at Middlesex University.
What was it about Middlesex that made you want to study there?
Middlesex University is fabulous as it’s not too central so it’s a little more relaxed. The university is a campus itself so it’s easy to figure out where you’re going.
How did you feel when you were accepted into university?
I was overjoyed when I found out that I had been accepted!
Do you have any advice on the accommodation search process?
I’d say start early. I left it quite late and it was very hectic trying to find accommodation.
Did you find it hard to leave home?
Leaving home for me was a big step but it was so much fun coming here and London has been completely fabulous.
If you could only take three things with you to university, what would you take?
Definitely shoes, a TV and all of my books
How are you finding London compared to home?
Compared to home London is a lot busier. It took a bit of getting used to at first but now that I’m here I’m absolutely loving it.
We’ll be featuring a student each week to give you insight into #studentlife and moving to university.
