With a swanky, exclusive vibe, Maddox Club’s luxury atmosphere makes everyone feel like a VIP. Known for hosting mind-blowing parties with a buzzing, electric spirit, Mayfair transforms into a futuristic and vibrant venue, the second you walk down the club’s stairs. You’ll have a chance to meet amazing people and if you’re lucky, join one of Nido’s parties hosted by the lovely guys and girls at Maddox, too!

Where is it? 2 minutes’ walk from Oxford Circus tube station.

Best for: A mix of chart, R&B, house and tech/deep house, this is the place for throwing shapes at, with both resident DJs and international artists gracing the DJ booth.

Egg plays music from some of the world’s greatest DJs, and with a sound and lighting system that’s one of the best that we’ve ever seen, every night at Egg is sure to be a memorable one.

3. FABRIC LONDON

Voted number 4 in DJ Magazine’s Top 100 Clubs in the World (not bad considering they were up against the two largest clubs in Ibiza), Fabric’s reputation makes it a major player in the clubbing scene. With student tickets available on the door, make sure you get to Fabric’s legendary Saturday nights, where the best electronic DJs get bodies moving on the venue’s “bodysonic” dancefloor. This unique feature emits booming bass frequencies, sending low-end notes from their feet all the way through their body, truly bringing them closer to the music.

Where is it: Located in Islington, close to the Farringdon overground.

Best for: If electronica is your scene, then Fabric should be a definite go-to with its electro, techno, and house events coming out on top.

One for the underground crowd, this stylishly shabby place is equal parts nightclub and arts space. Niche events are all the rage here, with something to cater to the art-inclined whatever night of the week. If you like your music full of funk and soul, then head to Disco Freaks or swing by on Friday night for the Notting Hill House Party, an anything-goes event that plays all sorts of music and has the legendary Brewdog providing the beers.

Where is it: Located in West London right next to Notting Hill Gate underground.

Best for: Live music, great cocktails, a top selection of craft beers and a bit of culture with your night out.

Going to a club isn’t always for everyone, but if you are looking for a night out that’s a little quieter then things don’t get more hush-hush than The Roxy. Tucked away in a basement, it has the charm of a 1920s speakeasy with some added modern flourishes. Get your chat on in the company of some delicious cocktails, and don’t forget to swing by in time for happy hour if you’re looking for a deal.
